MOURINHO'S STATEMENT

Mourinho made a statement after the match, saying, "If there was a Turkish referee, Yusuf would have been shown a card at the beginning of the match and I would have had to take him off the game. I have to thank the referee because in the position I mentioned, everyone on the other bench was jumping like monkeys." Galatasaray perceived the Portuguese coach's statement as racism and announced that they would file a complaint against Mourinho.
